As the founder of Freedom Clinical Psychology, Dr Steve Mayers draws upon his years of practical experience to help you find your freedom from these struggles, empowering you to grow through personalised strategies and evidence-based approaches. He offers counselling, therapy and psychological support in South West London at Hurlingham Studios, SW6 3PA and online.​ We accept all major insurance companies.

Dr Steve Mayers has been helping people experiencing distress for over a 15 years. After years of dedicated study and experience working in public and private healthcare systems across the world, he draws upon a wealth of knowledge to provide the highest quality care for people accessing psychological support, therapy or counselling in South West London.

Our Mission

Supervision

Dr Steve Mayers is a clinical supervisor who is currently facilitating individual and group supervision in a range of services.

 

Steve has worked as a Guest Lecturer with universities in the UK and Australia. He can provide teaching in a range of subjects relates to psychosis, formulation, critical perspectives and leadership, amongst other things.

Individual and Couples Therapy

We offer sessions for individuals and couples from experienced professionals that don't break the bank. 

In person or online therapy is available for all sessions, regardless of your location. If you're outside of area or unable to attend in person please get in touch using the form below.

How We Can Help

All our therapies are individualised and effective. All people and all problems are unique. As such, we do not use a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy.

We do more than just listen to you. We will take the time to get to know you and tailor your therapy appropriately, giving you practical strategies, useful information and insights you can use straight away.
